July 2010 - Public Notice of Application Concerning Resource Consent

Section 95 of the Resource Management Amendment Act 2009

Waikato District Council has received the following application:

Applicant: G D and P A McMahon Trust

Proposal: Application for Resource Consent for an approved café (Punnet Café) on land zoned Country Living, to extend its hours of operation, to permit an allocation of 120 nights of the year to hold night functions. Currently the hours of operation are from 8am – 4pm, Monday to Sunday. The proposed changes are:
· 8am–10pm Sunday to Tuesday, and
· 8am–12am Wednesday to Saturday

Location: 337C Newell Road Tamahere, being Lot 3 DP 366155 as comprised in Certificate of Title 268242.

The application includes an assessment of environmental effects.

The application may be inspected at the following Waikato District Council offices and libraries during normal opening hours:

· Public Library, 4 Jesmond Street, Ngaruawahia
· Hamilton City Council Library – Level 3, Garden Place, Hamilton

Any person may make a submission on the application. You may do so by sending a written submission to Waikato District Council, Private Bag 544, Ngaruawahia. The submission must be in form 13. Copies of this form are available from Waikato District Council.

Submissions close at 5pm on Friday 6 August 2010.

You must serve a copy of your submission on G D and P A McMahon Trust, whose address for service is 337C Newell Road, RD 3, Hamilton 3283, as soon as reasonably practicable after serving your submission on Waikato District Council.
