Public Notice of Application Concerning Resource Consent
Section 93(2) of the Resource Management Act 1991
Waikato District Council has received the following applications:
Applicant: Tasman Lands Ltd
Proposal: Application for a land use resource consent to establish and operate a light industrial area contained within four precincts and associated earthworks, and a subdivision consent to create six rural-residential allotments (Lots 5-9 and 11, Lot 5 being a Conservation House Allotment), and three allotments intended for industrial development (Lots 12, 16 and 23) with Lot 10 being a balance lot, on Land Zoned Rural. The industrial use of the northern portion of the site (closest to State Highway 23) is intended to be managed through a consent notice on each of the titles to control the form of industrial use and impose performance standards.
Location: The proposal is located on a 36.4 hectare property at 4005 A State Highway 23 OKETE being LOT 3 DPS 86350, LOT 4 DPS 86350, LOT 2 DPS 86350, LOT 1 DP 307139, LOT 1 DPS 86350, LOT 1 DP 404689 BLK II KARIOI SD SUBJECT TO EASEMENTS as comprised in Certificate of Title SA 68A/121.
The application includes an assessment of environmental effects.

Any person may make a submission on the application. You may do so by sending a written submission to Waikato District Council, Private Bag 544, Ngaruawahia. The submission must be in form 13. Copies of this form are available from Waikato District Council.
Submissions close at 5pm on Monday 16 November 2009.
You must serve a copy of your submission on Tasman Lands Ltd, whose address for service is c/- McCracken Surveys Ltd, PO Box 19182, Hamilton 3244, as soon as reasonably practicable after serving your submission on Waikato District Council.
