The Waikato District rating year is 1 July 2011 – 30 June 2012. A 10% instalment penalty is added to the remainder of any instalment not paid by the due/penalty date (Excludes rates being paid by direct debit calculated).
An arrears penalty of 10% may be added on 1 July to rates unpaid from previous rating years. A further 10% arrears penalty may be added on 1 January to rates that still remain unpaid from previous rating years.
