Creative Communities Scheme Assessment Committee

The Creative Communities Scheme Assessment Committee considers applications and allocates funding, in line with any specific local priorities that have been set by Council.

Reports to: Creative New Zealand and the Council's Discretionary & Funding Committee

Membership:

  • Two elected members (Councillors Tilly Turner and Mike Keir)
  • Two iwi representatives (Toni Herangi and one vacancy)
  • One Arts Council representative (Stuart Shepherd)
  • Four community representatives (Mark Vincent; and three vacancies)

Meeting frequency: As and when required, at least twice yearly

Quorum: A majority of members (including vacancies)
