Reserve Management Plan - The Point Reserve

Reserve Management Plans, or “RMPs”, are produced by Council to outline the future use, management, and development of reserves.

During early engagement in 2017, the community gave us their ideas and suggestions on what they wanted to see in the RMP for The Point Reserve. These suggestions were carefully considered and (where possible) included in the draft RMP which we are now coming back to you with for further feedback.

This management plan will be kept under continuous review to ensure that it is appropriate and relevant for The Point, with a comprehensive review taking place every five years.

Council will be presented with all submissions that are made on The Point Reserve Management Plan (including Kiingitanga Reserve) Draft.

Consultation closed on Friday 29 March 2019.

If you would like any further information on the proposal contact us on 0800 492 452 or email
