Woodlands Road, Gordonton between Gordonton School and Law Road.

Preparation work starts on 27 October and the road will under stop/go traffic management.

There will be a full road closure from 8am, 2 November to 4pm 28 November. Road Closure start date: Monday 2^nd November 8am (full-time closure)

The project is expected to be completed by Friday, 11 December 2026.

Detours will be via Whitikahu Road, Law Road and Piako Road, Middle Road.

Riverview Road, Huntly will be closed from Porritt Avenue to Waugh Lane from Friday 23 October to Monday 26 October, 6am to 8pm.

From Tuesday 27 October to the Wednesday 23 December the section of road will remain under traffic management.

Final works along Riverview Road, Huntly are now underway. This stage includes drainage and stormwater upgrades, kerb and channel renewals, road reconstruction, driveway reinstatements, footpath improvements, and the final chip seal road surface.

Traffic heading north will be detour in Ngaaruawaahia, along Great South Road and over Tainui Bridge and vice versa for those heading south.

Roading rehabilitation - this work includes:

• Removing the old road surface and placing a new layer of high-quality crushed stone to strengthen the road during night works.
• Traffic management during the day.
• Repairs and upgrades to footpaths, kerbs, and channels.
• Removing some vegetation and sealing the road surface.

Property access

Every effort will be made to maintain access for residents, farmers and businesses wherever possible. At times, short delays may be needed while work is taking place

Emergency services will always be able to access the area.

Temporary traffic management and detours will be in place throughout the project. Please follow all signs and directions from traffic management staff.
