ANZAC Day services 2019

ANZAC Day 2019
Date:

ANZAC Day honours our returned servicemen and women, and others who have died in war.

Below is information about the services being held in the Waikato District on Thursday 25 April 2019.

The Tuakau Anzac Day Service will be held as usual this year after Council managed to secure police support at the event.

Unfortunately the community-run services at Port Waikato and Pokeno have been cancelled as police resources can’t stretch that far.

Meanwhile, at this stage, services in the rest of the Waikato district will continue as normal.

Our sincere thanks go to Counties Manukau Police for their assistance in enabling this year’s Tuakau event to go ahead.
