The Performance & Strategy Committee is responsible for:

Setting the broad vision and direction for the District's Long Term Plan, determine specific outcomes that need to be met to deliver on Council's vision, development and monitor strategies to achieve those goals.
Monitoring of Council's strategy, and performance (both financial and non-financial) against the Long Term Plan and Annual Plan.
Determining financial matters within it's delegations and Terms of Reference and making recommendations to Council on financial matters outside it's authority.
Guiding and monitoring Council's interests in Council Controlled Organisations (CCO's), Council Organisations (CO's) and subsidiaries.
