This interactive exhibit aims to celebrate the diverse elements and captivating narratives that come together to form the story of our town.

WE INVITE YOU TO STEP INTO THE SPOTLIGHT
AND ADD YOUR CHAPTER TO OURSTORY.

By creating a collection of short films, we aim to showcase the diversity, and inspiration, that makes Raahui Pookeka Huntly the community we’re proud of. Come down and sit in the chair and tell us your story

The Sandpit

For the children the chance to explore what is hidden in the sands of Huntly . Learn about archaeology

Also have their Digital Collection and their Pop Up display:

Learn about local disasters, experience the feeling of being in the mines from the early 1900s, or dive into Raahui Pookeka Huntly’s rich and diverse history and heritage.

While we work to open the new museum in the restored train station, we’ve created the pop-up in the Huntly Civic Centre, a public access point for locals to directly interact with the stories that make up their community.
