Have your say on the future of our reserves

Waikato District Council is calling for residents to have their say on its draft Reserve Management Plans (RMP).

The Plans, which cover sports parks and neighbourhood parks within the district, outline the future management, use and development of these facilities.

Megan May, General Manager Service Delivery at Waikato District Council says the Council are now asking residents to review the draft documents and provide feedback on the plans.

“Both sports parks and neighbourhood parks provide a range of benefits to our residents, including improving social, physical and mental wellbeing.

“We want to make sure people living in our district are happy with the way we plan to manage and develop these facilities, both now and in the future.”

To view the documents and submit feedback before Monday 14 July, visit the Shape Waikato website below.
