Hamilton City Council is seeking community feedback on proposed upgrades to Morrinsville Road (Cambridge Road to Matangi Road), designed to make the route safer and easier for walking, scootering, and cycling.
The project includes physically separated cycle lanes, safe raised crossings, LED streetlight upgrades, and adjustments to bus stop locations to improve safety and accessibility for everyone especially school children and uni students.
Many residents from the Waikato District use this key commuter route each day, so Waikato District Council is encouraging our communities to take part in the consultation and share their views.
Public drop-in sessions will be held at Berkley Normal School Performing Arts Centre today and Saturday 1 November.
Feedback is open until Thursday 9 November 2025.
