Manu Bay boat ramp to close for repairs

Raglan’s Manu Bay boat ramp will be closed for five days next month, from 13 to17 April, while we carry out remedial work ahead of the World Surf League event in May.

We’re making some safety improvements to the ramp surface, including hard washing and filling holes and voids.
Emergency services access will be maintained at all times.

The Manu Bay boat ramp will be closed from 6am, Monday 13 April to 5pm, Friday 17 April.

Boaties will need to use alternative boat ramp facilities during this work, which is weather and tide dependent. We have a back-up window of 27 April to 1 May if we are unable to carry out the work at the planned time. Thanks for your understanding.

These works aim to mitigate some issues ahead of WSL, with renewal works on the boat ramp planned for after the May event.

We're also replacing the Manu Bay boardwalk, and it will be closed from 7 April, with works planned to be completed in early May, in time for the World Surf League event.
