Raglan's Manu Bay boardwalk will be closed to the public from 7 April, while we replace the boardwalk and associated structures, which have significantly deteriorated due to age and environmental exposure.
The work is planned to be completed by early May, in time for the World Surf League event.
As a valued community asset, the boardwalk plays an important role in providing safe public access within the reserve.
Also, a reminder that the Manu Bay boat ramp will be closed 6am, Monday 13 April to 5pm, Friday 17 April, while we carry out safety improvements to the ramp. Emergency services access will be maintained at all times.
