The new playgrounds in Riverview Road and Fraser Street, Huntly, were officially opened this morning.
The playgrounds have been refreshed with new, modern equipment to suit the local space. There are new slides, swings and climbing equipment.
There is also an accessible see-saw and carousel at the Fraser Street playground, kindly donated by Hato Hone St John.
The work is part of Council’s wider programme of playground renewals happening across the Waikato district.
