A new chapter is beginning for our district’s parks, reserves, sports fields and cemeteries, with Downer and Aceline joining us from 1 August 2026 as our new open spaces maintenance partners.
Following a robust procurement process, Downer has been appointed to deliver parks, gardens and cemetery maintenance services, while Aceline will be responsible for sports field maintenance and associated equipment.

We would like to thank our outgoing contractor, CityCare, for their commitment and service to our communities over the years. Their work has helped maintain the community spaces that our residents enjoy every day.
As we thank Citycare for their contribution, we also welcome Downer and Aceline as they begin this next chapter of maintaining our district's parks, reserves, sports fields and cemeteries.
Residents should see little to no change in service as the new contracts begin.
While there may be some minor teething issues during the transition, our priority is ensuring a smooth start. Particular attention given to our cemeteries, some of our most valued community spaces, so they continue to be maintained to the high standard our communities expect.
