What's next for Matangi Recreation Reserve?

Whether you're kicking a ball around, , cheering from the sidelines, or simply enjoying the open space, Matangi Recreation Reserve is part of what makes the community special. 

WW are looking ahead and planning for the reserve's future, and we'd love to hear what you think. The draft Matangi Recreation Reserve Master Plan sets out a vision for how the reserve could evolve over time, and community feedback will help shape the final plan. 

Matt Horsfield, Reserve Planning Team Lead, says Council is now inviting residents to review the draft plan and share their feedback.

"The reserve provides a range of benefits to local residents, including improving social, physical and mental wellbeing." 

"We want to make sure people living in our district are happy with the way we plan to manage and develop the reserve, both now and in the future."
