Ngaaruaawahia Community Hub and Library

Planning is underway for a new community hub and library space located right in the heart of Ngaaruawaahia, with the vision of 'Connecting our community through creativity and knowledge – a legacy for the future – uniquely Ngaaruawaahia.'  

The new facility is set to be built on the former Waipa Hotel site, which was purchased by Council in 2023, and the existing Ngaaruawaahia Library site.   

We now have the chance to create a new space that will reflect our commitment to create a modern, welcoming space where people can connect, learn, and thrive.
