Reynolds Reserve (Tuakau) Classification

OPEN
Council is calling for submissions on the proposal to declare Reynolds Reserve, Lot 2 DP 23628, as a Reserve under section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977 and to classify it as a Recreation Reserve under section 16(2A). The land was acquired by Council to meet the demand for neighbourhood park provision in the Tuakau area.

Reynolds Reserve, legally described as Lot 2 DP 23628, is owned by Council and is currently held in freehold title. The 1.7ha site was purchased in September 2020. Its size, location, and layout support a range of recreational activities, with the Pipinui playground forming a key feature of the reserve.

It is noted that the land has already received a resolution for the naming of the land. Following the completion of this process, the name will be placed in a gazette notice with the classification and declaration of the land as a recreation reserve.
