Paw-ty time at Ngaaruawaahia and Tuakau pools

A curly-haired dog happily swims in a pool, holding a blue ball in its mouth. Another dog watches from the edge, creating a lively, playful scene.

As summer winds down, our four-legged friends are getting a chance to make a splash before the pools close for winter.

Our eighth annual Pound Pups Pool Parties invite dogs and their owners to enjoy a fun-filled day with wagging tails and paddling paws while raising money to support Waikato DIstrict Council’s desexing programme, the PUP fund, designed to help those most in need, and Fundraising for Impounded Dogs

Event details

Entry is $15 per dog, with both cash and EFTPOS available. All funds raised with be split between the above programmes.

We welcome all friendly and well-socialised dogs to join us from 10am to 1pm

We know that busy dog events can sometimes be overwhelming for smaller or nervous pups. There will be an hour at the end of each day, 1pm to 2pm, reserved exclusively for small dogs (under 20kg) and dogs who may feel shy or anxious.
