Buckland Road Playground

Develop a new neighbourhood park in Tuakau, catering to informal sports activities.

The park will feature open grass areas, a Neighbourhood Playground, lighting, and amenities. Accessible from Booker Drive.

Project Update

June 2024 - The preliminary design and Engineers estimate have been completed. Now working through the procurement stage.

Thank you to our Tuakau whaanau for the impressive response to our Buckland Road playground survey. Option 2 was the clear favourite - with 354 of the 526 votes.

A massive shout out to the Tuakau Community Board who played a big part in getting such a great response.

The contract is now signed, and the physical works timelines are being finalised.
