Project update

Work Completed Since the Last Update:
1. Final formation of the earth bund
2. Water blasting and cleaning of the concrete footpath
3. Re-shaping and reinstatement of final ground level.
4. Hydroseeding of exposed soil areas and earth bund.
5. Engineer’s sign-off on the physical works (PS4).

While the core project scope is now 100% complete, there are a few remaining items to complete the wider project, as outlined below.

Upcoming Activities:
1. Installation of the Maaori artwork gifted by mana whenua onto the footpath.
2. Installation of a plaque displaying the gifted name “Pipinui Playground”.
3. Installation of the new reserve signage “Reynolds Reserve” at the entrance.
4. A blessing and official opening ceremony for the reserve
