The district-wide Water Renewal Programme (2024-27) builds on the success and lessons learned from the previous renewal cycle, continuing a strategic approach to improve the reliability, resilience, and performance of the district's water supply network. The programme aims to maintain consistent service delivery, reduce operational risks, and strengthen coordination between design, delivery, and operation teams to achieve efficient and sustainable outcomes.
Progress Update:
The Package 1 remains well progressed, with key construction milestones achieved ahead of the holiday shutdown. The focus now will be on completing reinstatement at Carr and Madill Streets and safely re-establishing works at Jackson Road.
