PR-21246 Helenslee Road minor improvements - On Hold

Helenslee Road, Pookeno upgrade project will focus on the stretch from Munro Road to SH1 Interchange.

This urban corridor upgrade aims to enhance the road infrastructure to accommodate the growing demands of the area.

As part of the project, we will be widening the corridor to accommodate future growth. 

This upgrade will not only improve traffic flow but also support the development and accessibility of the surrounding area.

Project Update 

March 2025 - Design and Consenting is continuing which will be complete by June 2025.  The project will then go on hold until funding is secured by Waka Kotahi for construction.
