Horotiu wastewater reticulation extensions

Project update

The Horitiu wastewater projects facilitate rapid residential and industrial growth in the Horotiu catchment. This project involves the integration of new gravity sewers and new wastewater pumping station, to provide a safe and robust network. The work is being delivered through Waikato District Council (WDC) Strategy & Growth team, WDC Roading and Watercare.
Progress Update:
The new Washer Road rising main have successfully been installed. The only remaining work is the access widening of the Northgate Pump Station to enable a safe pump lift.
The acquisition of required land is being progressed via the WDC Property Team. Once complete, the projects can be closed out.
