Hukanui Playground Renewal
Project objective
Upgrade of Hukanui playground. Concept plan for the wider park has been established. The playground will be developed as part of the area plan.Project update
Construction is underway on a new playground in Hukanui, set to open in late 2025. The upgraded design includes exciting features like a flying fox and will attract families from across the district and Hamilton. This project has been made possible thanks to generous contributions from the Gordonton Hall Committee and WEL Energy Trust. Local school children helped shape the design with Brodie Hailwood, a trusted local playground designer.At a glance
