Pookeno sports park

As part of the expanding urban and commercial growth in Pookeno, the need for sporting facilities has become increasingly apparent.

In response to this demand, preliminary sporting facilities have been developed, and land and civil development plans have been designed and approved for new sports fields on Munro Road.

Phase 1 Earthworks have been successfully completed, including the formation of a new stream alignment.

In Phase 2, we have focused on leveling the remaining site and filling in the existing stream, creating a flood-free platform for the construction of future sports fields and recreational infrastructure.

Project Updates

June 2024 - The Bulk Earthworks and car park are complete. New bollards and a service gate are being install around the new car park over the next few weeks, once these have been installed the car park will be opened to public.
