Project objective
This project is to renew the timber steps and boardwalk at the Ngarunui Beach (Wainui Reserve) carpark and is supported for renewal by the AMP and condition as reviewed by Open Spaces and the Frame Group Structures Report (see table on last page of report).Project update
Waikato District Council is replacing the existing boardwalk, stairs, viewing platform, and supporting timber structures at the Ngarunui beach access from the east carpark. Procurement is currently underway with expected completion of works before Summer 2026.At a glance
