Scott Road Repair Work

Project objective

Council needs to do urgent road repair work on Scott Road, between Saint Andrews Place and Te Kauwhata Road (by the new roundabout). We will need to keep part of Scott Road closed while this work is being done. During this time, the footpath will also be widened to connect to the new pathway.

This work is being done now and we expect to complete it by 22 September.

By doing this work now, Council can use the existing traffic management from the Scott Road roundabout construction. This reduces the need for a more lengthy and costly road closure at a later date.

Note: The Scott Road roundabout is on track to be finished by the end of August. At this time, Te Kauwhata Road will be fully open to traffic. There were some delays because of weather and soft ground. The roundabout work is a developer-led project. Work is being done by Dines.

  • Finish date: Expected to be completed by 22 September 2025
  • Where: On Scott Road between Te Kauwhata Road and Saint Andrews Place.
