The repainting of Tuakau Bridge will take place between Tuesday 25 October-Friday 25 November.
Because the bridge is narrow we need to place restrictions on over-width tractors and vehicles (anything larger than 2.75m) to keep everyone safe while we do this work.
A temporary traffic management plan will be in place during the day, with traffic control in place at either end of the bridge. Tractors and vehicles larger than 2.75m wide won’t be able to use Tuakau Bridge between 8am-1pm and 2pm-6pm each day. Other vehicles will be able to travel across the bridge at all times, subject to normal delays for the traffic control and temporary speed restrictions during work hours.
