Notice is hereby given that Waikato District Council, for allowing Club Targa Inc to hold the Targa Bambina 2022 tarmac rally, proposes to temporarily close a number of roads in the Waikato District on Saturday 12 March 2022.
The proposed roads and times for these closures are:

8.30am – 1pm
Rotowaro Rd from Weavers Crossing to Waikokowai Rd
Waikokowai Rd (from intersection with Logan Rd to intersection with Glen Murray Rd)
8.50am – 1.20pm
Rotongaro Rd
Glen Murray Rd (from intersection with Rotongaro Rd to Highway 22 intersection)
9.55am – 2.25 pm
Hunt Rd
Kauri Rd
Wairamarama-Onewhero Rd (from Kauri Rd intersection to Kohanga Rd intersection)
Kohanga Rd
11.45am – 4.15pm
Kellyville Rd
Koheroa Rd (from Kellyville Rd intersection to Mangatawhiri Rd intersection)
12.20pm – 4.50pm
Island Block Rd (Meremere)
Coalfields Rd (from Island Block Rd intersection to intersection with Kopuku Rd)
Kopuku Rd
1.35pm – 6.05pm
Waikare Rd
Waiterimu Rd
Storey Rd
For the proposed period of closure the roads would be manned at intersections by clearly identifiable marshals equipped with radio communication and access will be provided in the event of an emergency.
