The LAP sets out when, where, and how alcohol can be sold. Council have agreed the Local Alcohol Policy 2025 will come into force on 15 September 2025, except for:
- Clause 4.6.1 Maximum trading hours for on-licences
- Clause 7.3.1 One-way door restrictions
Clause 4.6.1 and 7.3.1 will come into force on 15 December 2025, in accordance with s.90 of the Sale and Supply of the Alcohol Act 2012 (the Act).
