Notice is hereby given that Waikato District Council proposes to temporarily close sections of Port Waikato–Waikaretu Road to allow Pukekohe Car Club to hold its annual Speed Weekend Rally event.
The proposed road closure details are:
Saturday 21 November 2026
Port Waikato–Waikaretu Road, between 81 and 791 Port Waikato-Waikaretu Road
9am to 6pm
Sunday 22 November 2026
Port Waikato-Waikaretu Road, between Limestone Downs Station and Baker Road
9am to 6pm
During the proposed closure period, closure points will be staffed by clearly identifiable marshals with radio communication. Access will be provided for emergency services if required.
