Notice is hereby given that Waikato District Council proposes to temporarily close Murray Road, Pukekawa, for the period set out below to enable Pukekohe Car Club to hold its annual Murray Road Hillclimb motorsport event.
Road to be closed:
Murray Road, Pukekawa, from its intersection with State Highway 22 to 360 Murray Road.
Proposed date of closure:
Saturday 19 September 2026
Proposed time of closure:
9am to 6pm
Highway 22 and Mile Bush Road will be signposted as the detour route.
For the period of the road closure, the closed section will be managed at intersections by clearly identifiable marshals equipped with radio communication. Access will be provided in the event of an emergency.
