June community sessions

We're bringing the conversation to communities across the district through a series of councillor-led sessions already scheduled in local areas. These sessions will cover Head Start and the Long-Term Plan, where relevant, and offer a chance to learn more, ask questions, and contribute your feedback. We look forward to seeing you there.

Rural-Port Waikato Community Board Meeting

Location: Port Waikato Fire Station, Maunsell Road, Port Waikato

The Rural-Port Waikato Community Board role is to express the community’s views on local issues to the Council.

This community board consists of a north and south subdivision to ensure equal representation across the board boundaries.

The Board meets on a six-weekly cycle with meetings scheduled to start at 6.30pm. Public Forum will be the first item on the Agenda.

All members of the public are invited to attend.

Dates to be confirmed for the following sessions

  • Youth / Rangatahi engagement: Districtwide
  • Rural Communities: Rural wards
  • Toituu Marae: Districtwide
  • Ngaa Poukai - Waikato-Tainui: Districtwide.
