Glen Murray recycling drop-off

Once a month, those living in Glen Murray can drop their recycling off at the local community hall and we will take it to the recycling facility for them.

Location: Glen Murray Hall carpark
Time: From 8.30am-12.30pm
Date: First Saturday of each month.

What can be dropped off?

Glass

Glass needs to be clean and separated from the rest of the recycling. Lids and tops need to be removed. Please ensure the containers you bring glass in aren’t too heavy – our drivers need to lift them safely

Plastics

Household plastic 1, 2 and 5 need to be together and need to be clean

Cardboard

Cardboard needs to be flattened and clean

Metal

Household metal food tins and drink cans need to be clean and no lids.

    Ensure all lids and bottle tops are removed and recycling is rinsed clean. These are not currently accepted with the recycling. 

    Make sure your tins, cans, and household plastic #1, 2, and 5 are together and clean. 

    Clean and flattened cardboard is also accepted.
