To celebrate Te Wiki o Te Reo Maaori, Waikato District Libraries will be hosting a series of fun, creative and engaging competitions across our library spaces.
These competitions are a chance for our community to have fun, be creative and celebrate Te Reo Maaori. Each competition gives people a different way to connect with the language by finding taonga, creating artwork, learning new kupu, sharing stories and exploring whakataukii.
There is something for everyone, with competitions for children, young people and adults.
Competitions are open to Waikato District residents, and Waikato District Council staff are also welcome to enter.
