If you have a project or an event and are seeking financial assistance, there are a number of funding opportunities available from Council to help make it happen.

As well as the Council funding opportunities outlined below, there are also many funds available from various providers throughout our community for e.g. Trust Waikato, Lotteries, etc.  We provide a computer database called GivUs and GivMe that will help you identify which funds may be of benefit to your project.

GivUs and GivMe are available at Te Kauwhata, Huntly, Ngaruawahia, Tuakau and Raglan libraries and Waikato District Council's Ngaruawahia office. Plus it is now available online via our library database.

These sites offer access to more than 5,000 grants and schemes for communities, volunteer organisations, schools, groups, sport clubs, Iwi, and individuals. Find assistance for nearly everything, including:

  • Operational costs
  • Building redevelopment
  • Project based resources
  • Study and professional development.
