Every residential pool must be inspected every 3 years, within 6 months either side of the anniversary of the pool’s completion.
A Notice to Fix is issued under Section 164 of the Building Act. The notice is in general issued for contravening or failing to comply with the Building Act or the Regulations.
Under the Building Act 2004 Council is required to assess the earthquake risk of certain buildings within the district.
