Water alert levels

Water alert level one

Water restrictions

As of Friday 6 March, Tauwhare, Gordonton, Matangi, Tamahere, Newstead/Eureka, Wallace Rd and Stonebridge Estate are now on Water Alert Level 2. Level 2 means sprinklers can be used on alternate days 6-8am and 6-8pm. Hand-held hosing is permitted.

Hamilton City has moved to Alert Level 2 and because these areas get water from Hamilton’s network, this means restrictions are in place for these areas too.

There are no other water restrictions in place for the rest of the Waikato district.
