What mobility parking spaces look like

Mobility parking spaces are outlined in yellow or blue and display the wheelchair symbol.

Who mobility parking spaces are for

Mobility parking spaces are for people with mobility-related impairments. You must display a valid mobility parking permit to use them. A parking enforcement officer will give you a parking ticket for parking in a mobility space without displaying a permit.

Permits for mobility and disability parking

Mobility Parking Permits and Disability Parking Permits are recognised nationwide. Permit holders can park in mobility spaces and get parking concessions.

Total Mobility

Total Mobility is a nationwide scheme aimed at giving people with disabilities mobility options. Waikato Regional Council administers Total Mobility cards for the Waikato district.
