  • Get hunting these holidays with a Christmas scavenger hunt at the Raglan Library!

    Find everything and receive a Christmas activity booklet and stickers.

  • Toddler time is an interactive programme with stories and crafts, and sometimes music as well. No need to book, just come along!

    Toddler Time at our Meremere Library runs weekly on Mondays and Fridays, 10.30-11.30am

  • This is a self-lead programme for Whaanau to engage with the community and our library resources books, games, toys, puzzles, etc, to socialise & engage with others in our library space.

    The intention is for this to be an unstructured time to have fun in the library with whaanau and meet others in the community. The resources we have are available anytime and we will encourage participants to ask staff when they want to use them.

  • Kids aged 0 – 5 can join us to play with LEGO DUPLO! DUPLO blocks are large, colourful building blocks designed for younger children.

    As well as being great fun, DUPLO teaches problem-solving skills, creativity, teamwork, and helps to develop fine motor skills.

    Come and join in on the fun, no booking required. Children must be supervised

  • Meet our local beekeeper Sarah C, who will bring bee suits, bee props and even some live honey bees for you to see up close in this fun, educational event!

  • Get crafty these summer school holidays! Join us for a fun Book Vase workshop where you’ll transform old books into unique, decorative vases. Perfect for unleashing your creativity and adding a literary touch to your room!

  • Come and join in the fun at our awesome LEGO club.

    At our LEGO Club sessions children will be given a theme to build their creation – imagination and open-ended play improves literacy and language skills and aids a child’s development.

    This is suitable for primary aged children – we also have DUPLO available for smaller kids.

    LEGO Club at our Raglan Library runs on the first and third Saturday of each month (during school term), 10-11am.

    No sign up required, just turn up on the day!

  • Join us for a colourful and creative craft session where we’ll be making adorable button snails!
    Kids will design their own snail shells using bright, assorted buttons and craft materials, creating a fun keepsake to take home. This hands-on activity encourages fine motor skills, creativity, and plenty of smiles. All materials are provided—just bring your imagination!



  • Bring a turtle to life! Create a dazzling turtle craft with gems, sparkles, and lots of imagination. Free and fun for all ages!
