    Toddler Time at our Meremere Library runs weekly on Mondays and Fridays, 10.30-11.30am

  • Ever wanted to try yoga?

    Come along to Huntly Library on Monday's during term time at 9.30am and unwind with Lou.

    Bring a yoga mat, wear comfy clothes and bring a gold coin koha for Lou.

    The class will be held upstairs and everyone is welcome.

  • Want to share your favourite reads with fellow book lovers over a cup of coffee?

    Book chat is a monthly get together for people who love reading and are keen to hear about new great reads.  

    There is no need to register. Just turn-up to one of the monthly sessions.

    Book Chat at our Huntly Library runs on the first Tuesday of each month (except January) at 10am.

    At our LEGO Club sessions children will be given a theme to build their creation – imagination and open-ended play improves literacy and language skills and aids a child’s development.

    Suitable for primary aged children – we also have DUPLO available for smaller kids.

  • Aged between 7 - 12-years-old, enjoy reading and hearing about the greatest new books? Love crafts, activities and games? Want to win prizes?

    Come to our monthly SKOOB sessions and do all of this, grab a snack and drink and get early access to the latest new books before anyone else.

    We’ve also got awesome spot prizes for kids who do their best and complete the most activities.

  • If you've ever wanted to learn to write, now's your opportunity!

    Join author KT Harrison at Huntly library on Thursday's, 10am-Midday.

    Bring along your ideas and  some pen and paper!

  • Kids aged 0 – 5 can join us to play with LEGO DUPLO! DUPLO blocks are large, colourful building blocks designed for younger children.

    As well as being great fun, DUPLO teaches problem-solving skills, creativity, teamwork, and helps to develop fine motor skills.

    Come and join in on the fun, no booking required. Children must be supervised

  • Learn to crochet with Linda!

    Learn how to read a pattern, abbreviations and how to make a square. Bring a note pad and pen, we'll supply the rest.

    The Crochet Club at our Ngaaruawaahia Library runs every second Thursday (during school term), 11am-12pm.
