Here's your chance to improve your riding skills, no matter what your riding level.
Motorbike riders in and around the Waikato can take to part in subsidised training days by NZ Transport Agency and Waikato District Council, Hamilton City Council and Waipa District Council.
Dates
Four safety training days will be held in Betham Park in Hamilton, to improve the skills of riders of all levels and experience, from people taking up a new hobby to those who have been riding for years.

Saturday 9 April or 7 May: 9am-4pm
Sunday 10 April or 8 May: 9am-4pm

The courses have a mixture of theory and practical sessions in a closed road setting and aim to increase the confidence levels of riders and cover cornering, braking, bike maintenance and slow speed manoeuvres.
Cost
The training is being delivered as part of the NZ Transport Agency Safer Journeys road safety strategy. The subsidised cost is $50 per day and places are strictly limited, with bookings essential.
